Siemens Home Appliances EQ700 classic vs WMF Perfection 880L
Technical comparison · Bean-to-cup machines
Two bean-to-cup machines of the same level; the choice turns on making a cup from pre-ground coffee, such as a decaf in the evening. Only the WMF Perfection 880L has a pre-ground compartment.

The differences that matter
- Pre-ground compartment only on the WMF Perfection 880L → a cup from pre-ground coffee without touching the beans.
- Milk: automatic pick-up tube on the Siemens, carafe on the WMF → nothing to fill on the Siemens; the WMF needs a carafe filled and washed.
- Preset drinks: 35 vs 18 → more ready-made recipes on the Siemens panel.
- Bean hopper: 320 g vs 250 g → the Siemens needs refilling less often.
Which one to choose
Choose EQ700 classic if…
For a household that drinks many different milk drinks: the pick-up tube draws milk straight from the container, with no carafe to fill. What you give up is pre-ground coffee: every cup starts from beans.
Choose Perfection 880L if…
For someone who wants a decaf or a flavored coffee only now and then: tip the powder into the compartment and the bean stock stays as it is. In return there is a milk carafe to fill and wash separately and a shorter list of drinks.
