Elektra

Elektra was founded in 1947 in Treviso under the name Trevisium; in 1965 the company adopted the name Elektra, from the Greek elektron. For three generations production stayed in the hands of the Fregnan family, who hand-built professional and home espresso machines in the Veneto region. In 2019 Elektra joined the VEA group, alongside other coffee-equipment brands; in 2025 its headquarters and production center moved to Bergamo, where Elektra now shares facilities with the group's affiliated brands. The lineup is split into two main lines: Heritage, inspired by historic models, and Contemporary, with a more modern design, plus dedicated accessories.
