At what altitude is TR4 coffee grown?
TR4 gives its best results between 500 and 800 metres of altitude. Higher elevations slow ripening and produce denser beans with more pronounced acidity.

How it grows
Congo genetic group; selected from open-pollinated plantings and propagated by grafting. The mother plant comes from Dak Lak province, in the Central Highlands; officially recognised by the WASI institute in 2006. Yield 5000-7000 kg/ha of green coffee. Like all robusta, it has to be planted alongside other clones, because it is self-incompatible.
