The E4 is the simplest bean-to-cup machine in JURA's E-Line, dedicated to black coffee: it measures 28 cm in width, 44.6 cm in depth and 35.1 cm in height, weighing about 9 kg per the manual. Manufactured in Portugal, it carries article number 15435 and is a 2021 model. It runs on 220-240 V, 50 Hz and draws 1450 W.
The integrated P.A.G. grinder mills beans from a 280 g hopper, and every specialty can also be brewed from pre-ground coffee. The panel recalls 5 preparations: espresso, double espresso, coffee, double coffee and hot water.
The E4 connects to JURA's J.O.E.® app, which unlocks two extra recipes (Barista coffee and Barista lungo) and lets you schedule automatic shutdown from a smartphone; the connection, however, requires the JURA WiFi Connect module, an optional accessory not included. JURA does not document a milk system on this model, nor does it disclose the burr type or whether the brew group is removable for cleaning.
