The J8 twin Diamond Black is the flagship of Jura's J line, with two independent P.A.G.3+ grinders and two separate 180 g bean hoppers, allowing two different blends without emptying and refilling a single container. The manual states dimensions of 31 × 44.6 × 36.1 cm (width × depth × height) and a weight of 11.5 kg, with a power draw of 1450 W. The water tank holds 1.9 l and the grounds container up to 16 portions.
The machine brews 31 specialties through a milk system with an HP3 connector and a replaceable CX3 spout: a tube links the microfoam nozzle to an external milk container or fridge, with optional wireless pairing to a JURA Cool Control milk fridge. A ground-coffee compartment is also present, for adding up to two scoops of a second type of coffee, such as decaffeinated, independently of the two grinders.
The manual states a supply voltage range of 220-240 V at 50 Hz, given as a range. Optionally the J8 twin can be controlled remotely from mobile devices via the JURA J.O.E. app. The manual also specifies that neither the machine nor its parts may go in a dishwasher.
