How we assign awards →

The differences that matter

  • Stepless / 60 steps → the Eureka lets you refine espresso without constraints; on the Sage you choose among fixed positions, which can be noted down and found again.
  • Declared methods: espresso and drip filter / plus French press → with the Sage a single grinder covers all three.
  • Hopper 300 g / 450 g → a 250 g bag fits in both; the Sage takes nearly twice that, with fewer refills.

Which one to choose

Choose Mignon Perfetto if…

A new bag arrives on Monday and the espresso needs dialing in again: with continuous adjustment you correct by the smallest amount, without having to choose between two positions. The declared methods are espresso and drip filter, and the smaller hopper needs refilling sooner.

Choose Smart Grinder Pro if…

Espresso on weekdays and French press on Sunday with the same grinder, going back to a position you wrote down. The trade-off: nothing exists between two positions, and if the ideal espresso falls halfway you take the nearest one.
