Eureka Mignon Perfetto

Mignon Perfetto grinds straight into the portafilter, held by an adjustable hands-free fork that triggers a microswitch: no doser, no container in between. The 50 mm flat hardened-steel burrs are built to handle both espresso and every filter grind size, so the same pair of burrs follows whoever switches between the two without changing grinder.
Adjustment is continuous and micrometric, working by repositioning the lower burr: you can fine-tune it by the smallest amount without losing the setting when the burr set comes apart, which here takes only nine screws. Guiding the hand is the Easy-Setting dial, built for someone approaching on-demand grinding for the first time who wants a clear reference point while learning where to land. The touch display runs two programmable doses plus a continuous mode, with a dose counter that tracks every grind, while an anti-clump, anti-static system controls how the grounds fall into the spout.
The hopper holds 300 g of beans, a stock for daily use rather than weighing the dose cup by cup. It's the entry point of the Mignon Silent range for anyone who wants to grind into the portafilter from day one, with a dial that helps them find their bearings without giving up the family's stepless precision; anyone after larger burrs or higher output should look at the Silenzio 55.

Pros and cons
In favour
- The same 50 mm burrs work for both espresso and filter
- Continuous, micrometric adjustment: fine-tune the grind without losing the setting during maintenance
- Easy-Setting dial built to find your bearings straight away, even on your first grinds source
- Touch display with two programmable doses, a continuous mode and a built-in dose counter source
Worth knowing
- The 300 g hopper is built for a daily stock, not for weighing the dose cup by cup
- Dosing is program-based, not weight-based: weighing the coffee still needs a separate scale source
- The same burrs cover espresso and filter: switching method still means dialling the grind in again

Espresso
Seven grams, twenty-five seconds, twenty-five millilitres: Italian espresso has a written specification, and this is it.
- Dose
- 7 g
Ristretto
The same dose as an espresso, less water in the cup. No institutional source fixes its volume — so here you will only find what is documented.
- Dose
- 7 g
Cappuccino
25 ml of espresso and 100 ml of steamed milk, in a 150–160 ml cup. The cappuccino has a specification too.
- Dose
- 7 g
Caffè macchiato
An espresso and a stain of milk. How much milk, exactly? No source declares it — and we do not invent it.
- Dose
- 7 g
Caffè americano
An espresso lengthened with hot water. The amount of water is set by no standard: it changes from country to country and from bar to bar.
- Dose
- 7 g
Caffè shakerato
Double espresso, sugar syrup and ice in a shaker. It has no specification: it has a house recipe.
