Data from official source

Mignon Libra grinds by weight, not by time: the patented Instant Grind Weighing Technology relies on a factory-calibrated integrated weighing system that stops the grind once the coffee in the cup reaches the set weight. It starts from the display, and it's built for espresso, with a dose consistency within 0.2 g.

The 55 mm flat hardened-steel burrs share the stepless, micrometric adjustment of the rest of the Mignon range: the lower burr moves, for exceptional dialling-in precision. The touch display programs two doses plus a continuous mode, and an anti-clump, anti-static system controls how the grounds fall during dispensing, which here is timed by the internal scale rather than by the clock.

It's a tall, heavy body, making room for the weighing assembly under the spout. The hopper holds 300 g, with a 510 g version available as an option. It's for anyone who wants a repeatable dose by weight without pairing the grinder with a separate scale; anyone also grinding for filter, or happy to work by time, will find a more direct answer in the Perfetto or the Silenzio 55.
