Melitta CI Touch vs Saeco Xelsis Deluxe
Technical comparison · Bean-to-cup machines
Melitta CI Touch and Saeco Xelsis Deluxe suit the same home use, but the Xelsis has more memory and a milk carafe that goes in the dishwasher. What decides it is how much milk cleaning and how many users the machine has to handle.

The differences that matter
- 4 user profiles vs 8 → the Xelsis stores the settings of eight people, the Melitta of four.
- Dishwasher-safe milk system only on the Xelsis → the Melitta's milk tube stays out of the dishwasher.
- 270 g bean hopper vs 450 g → the Melitta needs refilling more often.
- Height 34 cm vs 39.6 → the Melitta fits under a low cabinet; the Xelsis needs more room above.
Which one to choose
Choose CI Touch if…
the kitchen is small and height under the wall cabinet matters: it is the more compact and lighter of the two. You accept a milk tube that is not dishwasher-safe and a smaller bean hopper that needs refilling more often.
Choose Xelsis Deluxe if…
cappuccino and latte macchiato are daily and shared by several people: the carafe goes in the dishwasher and each user has a profile. You accept a taller, heavier machine to place on the counter.
