The CI Touch is Melitta's touch & slide bean-to-cup machine: per the official manual it measures 25.5 cm wide, 47 cm deep and 34 cm tall, weighing 9.25 kg empty. It runs on 220-240 V, 50 Hz, and draws up to 1400 W. The display is a colour TFT screen, and the grinder is a premium conical steel unit fed by a dual-chamber Bean Select hopper holding 270 g in total (2x135 g), letting you switch between two blends without emptying the hopper.
The milk system works through a tube connecting a removable container to the spout: the One Touch function prepares milk-based drinks at the press of a button, and the container can be kept in the fridge. The height-adjustable spout dispenses two coffee-and-milk cups at once. The brewing unit slides out by its handle for weekly cleaning, no service call required. A chute for pre-ground coffee is also included, with grind adjustable across 5 levels, strength across 4 levels and brewing temperature across three settings (85/90/95 °C).
The spec sheet lists 10 preset coffee variations and 4 personal 'My Coffee Profile' slots, but no app connectivity: the manufacturer explicitly states there is no smartphone support or control. The plastic milk container is dishwasher safe only for its main body: the lid and pickup tube, per the manual, must be washed by hand. Rounding out the feature set are auto shut-off, a 0-watt switch and a passive cup warmer with LED lighting.
