Melitta Pour-Over & Glass Carafe Set 36oz

The Pour-Over & Glass Carafe Set 36oz is the only dripper in this batch of Melitta products sold together with a carafe: the manufacturer states the glass carafe holds up to 36oz of coffee — the US unit used on the page, with no millilitre figure declared — while the cone that holds the filter, the lid and the scoop are BPA-free plastic.

The filter required is size #4, the same as the porcelain Signature Series model, but here the cone and lid are plastic parts designed to sit on top of the included carafe rather than on a generic cup. The manufacturer does not specify the number of drain holes at the bottom of the cone.

It is a complete manual system with no electrical parts: the result depends on the coffee grind, the water pour speed and the #4 paper filter used.
