Kalita Wave Dripper 155 S
The Wave Dripper 155 S is the small size in Kalita's stainless steel Wave line, the flat-bottomed dripper that stands alongside the V60 as a specialty coffee reference. The manufacturer states an all stainless steel body ("ステンレス製", stainless steel) under product code 04151, rated for 1-2 people ("1～2人用") and a weight of about 138 grams.
The Wave series page describes two distinctive design traits: the "wave zone" has a flat bottom, so unevenly poured water still spreads uniformly over the coffee bed, and the three drain holes characteristic of the Kalita system keep the liquid from pooling in the filter for long, limiting the extraction of bitter compounds. The dripper requires exclusively the Wave paper filter in size 155, stated for 1-2 people.
It is a manual accessory with no electrical parts: the manufacturer does not state a capacity in millilitres, only the number of people served. The same shape and three-hole design are shared with the 185 size, not covered here.
