The differences that matter
Rocket Espresso Giotto FAST integrates PID control, a direct water connection, a pressure gauge, and a rotary pump, features not present on the Appartamento (whose pump type and pressure gauge presence are unspecified in the official data). Rocket Espresso Appartamento is 6.6 cm narrower and features a larger water tank (2.5 L vs 1.8 L). The Giotto FAST weighs 30 kg, which is 10 kg more than the Appartamento. Data regarding portafilter diameter, group type, and voltage are unavailable for the Giotto FAST, whereas the Appartamento uses an E61 group and a 58 mm portafilter.
Which one to choose
Choose Appartamento if…
Rocket Espresso Appartamento is suitable for users with limited counter space, due to a width of 27.4 cm compared to 34 cm for the Giotto FAST model. The internal water tank provides a capacity of 2.5 liters, which is larger than the 1.8 liters of its counterpart, reducing the frequency of manual refills. The weight of 20 kg is 10 kg less than the 2025 model.
Choose Giotto FAST if…
Rocket Espresso Giotto FAST is appropriate for users requiring electronic temperature control via a PID module and a direct water network connection. The inclusion of a rotary pump and a pressure gauge allows for precise extraction management. The power consumption is 1550 W compared to the 1350 W of the Appartamento.
