Ceado is an Italian manufacturer based in Spinea, in the province of Venice. According to the official "About us" page, the company was founded in 1999 in Venice, although the same page traces its family history back to 1952, to the work of Egidio Girardi. Today Ceado describes itself as one of the leading makers of coffee grinders, burrs, bar equipment and coffee brewers, all made in Italy.
Its coffee line-up includes on-demand, single-dose and multipurpose grinders, built with proprietary burrs (Ceado Original Burrs, introduced in 2019) and Sweep-Out technology for clearing the grinding chamber, introduced in 2018. The REV series, launched in 2025, is the company's latest grinder generation.
Beyond coffee, Ceado also makes juice extractors, blenders, centrifuges and other bar equipment: a broader scope than CoffeeSpecs covers, which here focuses only on the grinder range. The site offers a downloads area with product documentation and the company's contact details, but publishes no spare-parts catalogue and does not describe a service network, so CoffeeSpecs gives no rating for parts availability.
