Manufacturing and marketing are therefore handled by BSH, not by Siemens AG itself.
BSH Hausgeräte GmbH is headquartered in Munich, as its "Legal Notice" page states. On its "Company Portrait" page BSH says it was founded in Germany in 1967 as a joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH (Stuttgart) and Siemens AG (Munich) and has been 100% owned by the Bosch Group since January 2015; the same page confirms that BSH uses the Siemens brand as a trademark licensee of Siemens AG. None of the official pages consulted state a specific founding year for the Siemens brand as such.
Within the home appliance range, Siemens covers cooking, laundry, refrigeration, vacuuming and automatic coffee machines: the EQ line (including EQ.3, EQ500, EQ700, EQ900, EQ.9) comprises fully automatic bean-to-cup machines, with features such as BaristaMode and the dualBean dual bean-container system described on the brand's official site.
