EQ500 iAroma is a Siemens bean-to-cup machine with a ceramic burr grinder, adjustable across 1-6 levels, and a 300 g bean hopper; the display is LED, and there is no chute for pre-ground coffee, so every cup passes through the grinder.
The milk system is a flexible cappuccinatore. The total of 41 drinks combines those available from the panel with ones unlocked through the Home Connect app — including Cold Brew, Flat White and Cappuccino XL — to which the machine also connects for remote diagnostics and control. Up to five personal profiles save everyone's own settings, and the spout rises from 9 to 14.1 cm to fit different cups and glasses.
The brew group comes out and rinses under running water. An automatic cleaning program using a tablet pairs with calc'nClean, which combines cleaning and descaling into a single cycle; the milk system also has its own cleaning program. Dishwasher-safe parts include the drip tray, the drink outlet, the milk nozzle and hose, and the grounds container. The water tank holds 1.8 litres. It suits someone who wants many drinks, some from the app, and cleaning and descaling in a single cycle.
