EQ300 is a Siemens bean-to-cup machine with a ceramic burr grinder and a 250 g bean hopper; the display is a plain LCD, and there is no chute for pre-ground coffee, so every cup passes through the grinder. A front service door gives direct access to the brew group, for a quick clean.
Five drinks are available: cappuccino, espresso, latte macchiato, coffee and frothed milk, with milk frothed by the milkPerfect nozzle directly in the cup. The spout rises from 8.5 to 13 cm to fit different cups and glasses, and the water tank holds 1.4 litres.
The brew group comes out and rinses under running water, with no service visit needed. An automatic cleaning program using a tablet and a dedicated descaling program are both started from the front panel. Dishwasher-safe parts include the drip tray, the milk nozzle and the grounds container. It suits someone who wants a simple bean-to-cup machine, with few drinks and milk frothed straight into the cup.
