Clara French Press is a plunger coffee maker with a stainless steel body and filter and a double-wall vacuum construction for thermal insulation. The filter is an ultra-fine mesh and the interior has a non-stick PTFE coating, PFOA-free, which makes cleaning easier. It pours from any side, and the ratio aid lines on the inner wall help keep the right proportion of coffee to water. The lid and handle are BPA-free plastic; a version with a walnut plunger and handle is also available, which needs food-safe mineral oil once a month. Only the mesh filter can go in the dishwasher.
