The Look Therm Perfection is a Melitta filter machine with a steel thermal jug. The water tank is transparent, removable, and marked up to a maximum of 10 large cups of about 125 ml, or 15 smaller ones of about 85 ml. The jug lid clicks shut and lets coffee run through while brewing, so the jug stays closed from the first drop to the last.
The jug is double-wall, unbreakable; the filter holder is hinged, and the filter insert, jug lid and tank lid are dishwasher safe, while the steel jug itself is washed by hand. The machine switches itself off 15 minutes after brewing ends.
A dial adjusts coffee strength without changing the coffee or water quantity: turning it clockwise gives a lighter coffee, anticlockwise a stronger one. Descaling takes about 25 minutes and must not be interrupted. It suits anyone who wants a jug that keeps itself hot on the table, with no hot plate switched on.
