The Perfection 780 sits at the top of WMF's domestic line: a Titanium grey front with Cromargan stainless steel elements, a metal conical burr grinder with 3 manual grind settings, and a 250 g bean container. It ships with a 1-litre glass milk container, connected via a tube and a Cromargan milk lance.
Unlike the 680, this machine also accepts pre-ground coffee through a dedicated chute, useful for decaf or for trying other blends without touching the beans in the hopper. The manufacturer states up to 18 different recipes, managed across 10 personal profiles that can each save up to 8 drinks; adjustment covers 4 strength levels and coffee temperature across 3 levels. The brew unit cleans itself with a dedicated automatic programme.
