WMF Perfection 780

Perfection 780 is a superautomatic with a metal conical burr grinder, manually adjustable across 3 levels, and a 250-gram bean container; for large, 220 ml cups the machine doubles the grinding cycle on its own. Anyone who would rather skip the beans can switch to the pre-ground coffee chute, useful for decaf or for trying other blends. The water tank holds 2 litres and works with a dedicated Aqua filter.

Milk goes through a 1-litre glass carafe, with a tube and a Cromargan milk lance. The milk circuit and the brew unit, each get their own automatic cleaning and rinsing programme; a reminder flags on its own when it is time to descale, and a sensor warns when the tank runs dry.

Recipes, up to 18, are picked from the TFT touchscreen and saved across 10 personal profiles, up to 8 drinks each; coffee temperature is adjustable across 3 levels, and the drip tray is removable. It ships with a bag holding the milk-system tube, lance and pre-ground coffee spoon, a water filter with its fitting tool, cleaning tablets, a water-hardness test strip and descaling agent, plus a brush and a cloth.
