The differences that matter
- 54 mm against 64 mm burrs → X64 SD has wider burrs, DF54 takes less counter space

- Micrometric against stepless adjustment → two ways to reach the same grind, with X64 SD free of steps
Which one to choose
Choose DF54 if…
you grind one dose at a time for espresso and pour over and are short on space: DF54 is 11 cm wide and 19 deep. The trade-off is that drip filter and cold brew are not among the declared methods, and the burrs are 54 mm. The listing shows 110 V, so check compatibility with your home voltage before buying.
Choose X64 SD if…
you alternate espresso, drip filter and cold brew on the same grinder and want 64 mm burrs with stepless adjustment. In return it takes more counter space, 14.3 cm wide and 25.3 deep, and the hopper holds 30 g.
