The Mahlkönig X64 SD is an electric single-dose grinder with flat burrs in special steel. Zero retention: no coffee grounds are left behind and every dose is fresh. Adjustment is stepless, on a micron level, on a dial numbered 0 to 12: 0 to 2 for espresso, 2 to 7 for filter and pour over, 7 to 12 for coarse grinds such as French press and cold brew. These values are approximate and vary with the type of coffee and the roast. A stainless steel portafilter dosing cup with a funnel is included. A hopper extension, a bellow and an anti-popcorning lid can be fitted; the bellow allows cleaner purging.
