Venus is a Bialetti coffee maker in 18/10 stainless steel; the handle and knob remain thermoplastic. The safety valve is designed for quick cleaning. It comes in four sizes, from two to ten cups.
It works on gas, electric and induction hobs without an adapter, except in the two-cup size, which is not induction-compatible. It brews by filling the boiler with water up to the safety valve, fitting the funnel with moka-ground coffee without pressing it down, and taking it off the heat as soon as the coffee starts to gurgle as it rises into the upper chamber. It is rinsed with water only after each use, no detergent, and never in the dishwasher. It suits someone who wants a steel pot and uses induction from the four-cup size up.
