Bialetti Mokina

Mokina is the smallest coffee maker in Bialetti's range: the manufacturer describes it as 'the baby in the Bialetti family' and as a miniature version of the Moka Express, meant for a very concentrated half-cup serving. Unlike the Moka Express's 1-to-18-cup range, Mokina only exists in this single size.

The body is stated to be aluminium, with a thermoplastic handle and knob. For induction, the official page uses the same wording as the Moka Express: it can only be used together with the separately sold induction plate adapter, while the product is stated to work directly on gas and electric hobs.

It carries the same 'easy-clean' safety valve as the rest of the range. The manufacturer also states that the product should not be washed in a dishwasher, as this could damage it and affect the coffee's taste; it does not provide data on base diameter or weight.
