Data from official source

Cafelat Robot is a manual lever espresso machine: pushing down the lever arms makes the internal piston force hot water through the coffee. It has no boiler or heater, so hot water from a kettle must be poured into the basket by hand before brewing. It uses professional filter baskets and also has a bottomless portafilter. The main body and bases are aluminum, the other parts are stainless steel, the piston seal is FDA-approved silicone and the machine is plastic-free.
