This is a compact automatic countertop tamper, sized for up to 7 kg of coffee per week: a volume suited to lower-traffic venues rather than a bar with a queue at the counter. Its footprint is compact, designed to sit next to a grinder even where space is tight.
The tamping diameter covers 53, 54 and 58 mm, and it works with naked portafilters as well as single- or double-spout ones. Just slide the portafilter under the head and press a button: pressure, set on one of three profiles (Speedy, Precision, Single) between 10 and 30 kg in 1 kg steps, stays identical on every tamp. It has no wheel for manually adjusting the portafilter, nor a control for quickly switching profiles.
The warranty is 2 years or 150,000 tamps. It suits anyone with little counter space who works up to 7 kg of coffee a week.
