The Tigershark is the C40 MK4 variant with a different burr edge geometry, the "Double Shark-Tip Blade": a dual-row blade structure that cuts cleanly through light-roasted beans and dense materials beyond coffee in the strict sense.

The burr is made from Nitro Rex, Comandante's stainless steel alloy, resistant to rust and washable without special care after use. The body and the stepped adjustment mechanism remain those of the C40, assembled in Germany.

It suits someone who also grinds materials other than coffee, or very light roasts, and wants a burr dedicated to that use, staying within the standard C40's body and mechanism.
