Melitta's AromaFresh Pro X is a filter coffee machine with a built-in grinder: a ceramic burr grinder with eleven fineness settings, whose adjustment ring can be removed for cleaning. The manufacturer states dimensions of 26.8 cm in width, 25.2 cm in depth and 46.3 cm in height, a weight of 3.7 kg and a maximum power of 1130 W.
The carafe is glass, with a 1.25-litre tank capacity, enough according to the manufacturer for 10 cups. Unlike a thermal carafe, coffee does not stay hot for long without an active warming plate.
By grinding beans at the point of brewing, the machine covers in one appliance steps that otherwise require a separate grinder. The manufacturer does not, however, disclose either the brewing temperature in Celsius or an SCA certification for this model.
