The Cup-One is Moccamaster's single-serve model: it has no carafe and brews straight into a cup. The technical table states a per-cup brew volume of 0.33 litres (330 ml), not to be confused with the capacity of the 2 porcelain mugs with a black band supplied with the machine, stated at 300 ml each. Weight is 2 kg and footprint is 26x17x30 cm (width x depth x height).
Declared power draw is 1,090 W on 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz mains, with a smaller size-1 paper filter compared to the rest of the range. The manufacturer declares the same ECBC certification as the rest of the line, achieved with the same copper heating element designed for a steady brewing temperature.
It is built for individual rather than household use: suited to cups up to a stated maximum height of 11 cm, with no hot plate since the coffee is meant to be drunk right after brewing. The manufacturer states the unit is handmade in the Netherlands; it does not publish anything about an integrated grinder, which this model in fact does not have.
The lowest list price among advanced Drip coffee makers machines: €234. The second cheapest has a list price of €264. (Excluding manufacturer or retailer discounts.)
