Melitta Latticia OT

The Latticia OT is a compact bean-to-cup machine with a single 250 g bean hopper and a premium conical steel grinder; there is no chute for pre-ground coffee, so every cup goes through the burrs. Available adjustments include a 5-level grind setting, 3-level coffee strength, and brewing temperature across three thresholds (85/90/95 °C).

The One Touch Milk system brews milk drinks with the tube placed straight into a standard milk carton; alternatively, a lance that goes into the carton, or a dedicated milk container, can be used, but neither is included in the box. The height-adjustable All-in-One spout pours two coffee-and-milk cups at once. The milk circuit should be cleaned roughly every hundred milk drinks, but the machine does not remind you on its own: it is up to the user to keep track.

The brew group slides out by its handle and needs cleaning once a week; roughly every two months the machine asks for a cleaning cycle to remove coffee residue, and every three months for descaling, for which any fitted water filter must be removed first. It can also be managed through Melitta's Companion app. It suits someone who drinks the same milk beverage every time and does not need to switch blends or brew decaf on the fly, in exchange for a smaller kitchen footprint.
