Cremina SL is the spring-driven variant of Olympia Express's historic Cremina, a Swiss single-group machine that replaces the pure manual lever action with a compression spring in the brew group: according to the manufacturer, this spring ensures constant brewing pressure during extraction.
The stainless steel electric boiler, filled by opening the top, has a stated capacity of 1.8 litres (3.8 pints), enough for 20 cups of classic espresso according to the manufacturer. Stated dimensions are 20 cm wide, 27 cm deep (47 cm with the lever extended) and 38 cm tall (49 cm with the lever extended), for a weight of 13 kg. Stated power supply is 220-240V/50Hz drawing 1000 W; a 120V/60Hz version at 850 W is also available.
The manufacturer does not state the portafilter diameter, whether a pressure gauge is fitted, or the boiler heat-up time: these remain undeclared on the official product page.
