Xelsis is a Saeco bean-to-cup machine with a transparent bean container, the AromaSeal, visible from outside and sealed; it holds up to 450 g. The burrs are 100% ceramic, built to last at least 20,000 cups, adjustable across 12 levels.
The 22 base drinks are personalised through the CoffeeEqualizer Touch⁺ function, and three ready-made taste profiles (Delicato, Intenso, Forte) offer a shortcut to save into one of eight user profiles. Milk is frothed through LattePerfetto technology in an external carafe, plant-based alternatives included. An automatic cleaning cycle, HygieSteam, cleans the milk circuit.
Built-in Wi-Fi downloads more than a dozen new seasonal coffee varieties on top of the 22 base ones, along with personalised tips from the Smart Assistant function and software updates; it all happens on the machine's own screen, with no smartphone app. A panel shows maintenance status, including the AquaClean filter, which allows up to 5000 cups before the machine needs descaling. It suits someone who wants many recipes, updated over Wi-Fi, and separate profiles for everyone.
