Prestina is a portable immersion brewer in which the cup itself becomes the press: there is no plunger. You add medium-ground coffee, pour in hot water, stir and wait, then apply steady pressure on the built-in cup. An integrated valve controls the flow and the stainless steel filter is permanent, so no paper filters are needed. Water goes up to 240 ml and the process takes about 2 minutes, rinsing included. The body is made of food-grade polypropylene, stainless steel and silicone, in a compact, light design made for travel. It is meant for anyone who brews one cup at a time and does not want to carry disposable filters.

Pros and cons
In favour

- Cleaning is quick: knock out the grounds and rinse the parts, which come apart easily. source
Worth knowing
- With 240 ml of water it makes one cup at a time, so serving several people means repeating the brew.
