La Pavoni Cellini Classic vs Sanremo Cube
Technical comparison · Heat exchanger
The Cellini Classic and the Cube are both heat-exchanger machines, but one is filled from a tank and the other can be plumbed into the water mains. That is the difference that decides the choice.

The differences that matter
- Water: 2.9 l tank against mains connection (1.8 l tank) → the Cube needs no refilling once plumbed in.
- Group: E61 against thermosiphon → two different builds on the same heat-exchanger architecture.
- Footprint: 29.5 × 43 cm and 23 kg against 33.6 × 32.3 cm and 27.7 kg → the Cube is 10 cm less deep but wider and heavier.
Which one to choose
Choose Cellini Classic if…
For anyone who wants an E61 with a copper boiler and is happy to pour the water in by hand: no plumbing, the machine goes wherever there is a socket. You accept refilling the tank, which is still the larger of the two.
Choose Cube if…
For a kitchen where a water line can run behind the machine and nothing needs refilling. You give up the E61, since the group here is a thermosiphon one, and work with a smaller tank when it is not plumbed in.
