Ethiopian landrace. Collected in the Ethiopian forests in the 1930s, it passed through the Lyamungu station in Tanzania and reached CATIE in 1953 as accession T2722. In 2005 the Peterson family entered it in Best of Panama and auction prices went above 20 dollars a pound.
