EPOS is Melitta's filter coffee machine with an integrated conical burr grinder and a 360-degree rotating spout, designed to reproduce a manual pour-over brew automatically. The manufacturer certifies it under the ECBC (European Coffee Brewing Centre) standard and it has received a Red Dot Award; the declared water tank capacity is 1.00 litre, for up to 8 cups, and the jug is glass with a dishwasher-safe lid.
Control is via a touchpanel that manages several brewing profiles plus a pre-brewing function; the tank is transparent, removable, and marked with a cup scale. Warmth is kept through a separate heating element, with a declared keep-warm time of 40 minutes before automatic shut-off. Declared dimensions are 357 x 311 x 359 mm (height x width x depth) for a weight of 4.6 kg.
The official technical data page states there is no timer function, and it does not list voltage or power consumption: the manual only points to the appliance's rating plate for voltage rather than printing it. Brew temperature and any SCA certification, as distinct from the stated ECBC certification, are also not published.
