The AquaClean Water Filter CA6903 is the filter cartridge Philips sells as an official accessory for its Philips- and Saeco-branded superautomatic machines, presented as a system that lets you put off descaling the machine.

The manufacturer states that the filter removes calcium through ion-exchange technology, and that a micro-porous filter keeps the machine from clogging.
