Data from official source
The Bottomless Portafilter is the spoutless filter holder Profitec sells as an official accessory for its portafilter machines. The perforated spout gives way to an open design, letting you watch the extraction directly instead of hiding it behind a spout.
The included basket holds 21 grams. It's modular: with the silicone dual-spout attachment and the two-cup basket that ships with Profitec machines, it converts into a double-spout portafilter when needed, then back to bottomless when you want to watch the extraction. It's worth it for someone who already owns a Profitec portafilter machine and doesn't want a second accessory just to switch format.
