WMF's Lono Glas has a transparent glass body and a frame in Cromargan stainless steel. The single lit button starts and shows which of five programs is running: hot foam, cold foam, hot milk, hot chocolate made from whole chocolate pieces, and a dedicated setting for plant-based drinks such as oat, soy or almond. The glass jug holds up to 250 ml, enough for the foam of two large latte macchiatos.
The stirring unit has a disc for milk and a cage for chocolate, both magnetically mounted and removable for cleaning; the glass jug, lid, seal and stirring unit go in the dishwasher, while the Cromargan body only needs a damp cloth. The body stays connected to the base by a cable during use, and it suits anyone who also uses oat, soy or almond milk and wants to put everything but the body in the dishwasher.
