Sage's Milk Café is an induction-heated electric milk frother: the manufacturer states that induction heating distributes heat gradually and evenly to create the tiny bubbles behind the foam. The rating label printed in the manual states a 500 W draw on a 220-240 V supply.
Selection happens via a START/STOP dial with two interchangeable discs, one for dense cappuccino-style froth and one for smooth latte-style milk, plus a 'Cold Stir' setting that the manual explicitly describes as also useful for frothing milk for cold drinks such as an iced cappuccino.
The jug, lid, measuring cap and frothing discs can go in the top rack of a dishwasher, though the manufacturer recommends hand-washing the discs to extend their life. The manufacturer does not, however, state the jug's capacity in millilitres, only in cups ('three cups').
