De'Longhi's Alicia Latte EMF2 is a compact electric milk frother: the official technical data sheet lists 12 cm depth, 17 cm width and 20 cm height, at a weight of 0.8 kg. The manufacturer states a 140 ml frothing capacity and a maximum 250 ml warming capacity.
Three functions are selected with a single button: hot frothed milk with one press, hot unfrothed milk with two presses, and cold frothed milk by pressing and holding for a few seconds. The manufacturer explicitly flags the maximum level marked inside the jug, which should not be exceeded to avoid milk leaking from the lid.
The manual is unambiguous on one point: the appliance must never be washed in a dishwasher, nor immersed in water when cleaning. Instead, the jug should be rinsed under running water or wiped with a sponge, without abrasive detergents or solvents.
