How it grows
Timor Hybrid crossed with Típica and Borbón. Released by Cenicafé in 2002 for regions with prolonged dry seasons, poorly distributed rainfall and strong sunshine, where small farms grow tall varieties with little technical input, at low density and under shade: according to the 1997 national coffee survey, coffee in those regions covered 240,000 hectares, 30% of the country's coffee area. The name means "good" in the Guambiano language.
