Cadorna Prestige is a superautomatic with an automatic milk carafe that froths and pours milk straight into the cup, with no attachment to clip onto the steam wand. The built-in grinder uses ceramic burrs with a 250-gram bean hopper; the pre-ground coffee compartment is still there, though it only brews one cup at a time.
After every milk drink the machine offers a quick-clean cycle; every week the milk container and suction tube are washed, while once a month the whole carafe needs an intensive clean with Philips' milk-circuit product. The brew group is removed with the PUSH lever and washed under running water, with no detergent and no dishwasher; the drip-tray grille is hand-washed, while the cup tray can go in the dishwasher's top rack.
