Hario Immersion Dripper Switch 360

The Immersion Dripper Switch 360 is the immersion version of the V60: a base with a steel ball valve that keeps the drain closed during steeping and opens it when the "switch" is pressed, letting the brewer choose how long the coffee stays in contact with the water before it starts to drip. The manufacturer states a finished capacity of 360mL, dimensions of W136×D136×H152mm and a Φ136mm diameter, for a weight of about 600 grams including packaging, under article code SSD-360-B.

The body is described as heat-resistant glass ("Glass bowl / Heatproof glass"), with a silicone rubber base, a PCT resin switch mechanism and a stainless steel closing ball. The package includes 40 HARIO paper filters in the VCF-03W size, made for this specific dripper size.

It is a manual accessory with no electrical parts. Unlike the pages dedicated to the direct-drip V60 versions, the Switch dripper page does not describe the cone's shape or the filter type by category (conical, wave, cloth), and does not state the number of drain holes: these are figures the manufacturer does not make available on this page.
