The Mizudashi 7 is Hario's heatproof-glass cold-brew jug. Practical capacity is 600 mL, for five cups.
The grounds get wetted by pouring water in a little at a time in a circular motion, up to the mark on the handle band, then the cap goes on and the jug is gently shaken to start extraction. It steeps for about 8 hours in the fridge, and the strainer's bottom detaches from the rest for easier washing.
The glass handles hot water and the dishwasher; no microwave, oven, induction or open flame. It's for brewing a smaller batch, five cups, for one or two people.
