The Mizudashi 14 is Hario's heatproof-glass cold-brew jug. Practical capacity is 1000 mL, for eight cups.
Making it takes only ground coffee and water: pour it in a little at a time in a circular motion, up to the mark on the handle band, then close the cap and gently shake the jug to start extraction. It steeps for about 8 hours in the fridge, and the bottom of the strainer detaches from the rest for easier washing.
The glass body handles both hot water and the dishwasher, but not microwave, oven, induction or open flame. It's for brewing a single eight-cup batch, with a handle built for carrying it to the table ready to pour.
