The AeroPress Premium is the material-forward version of the brewer: the manufacturer describes it as featuring a hand-crafted, double wall borosilicate glass chamber, with stainless steel and anodized aluminum components. Declared capacity is 10 oz, in line with the Original, with stated dimensions of 7 1/8 x 4 9/16 inches.
According to the manufacturer, the double-wall glass improves heat retention and durability compared to the polypropylene chamber of the other versions. Precisely because of its handmade construction, the manufacturer explicitly states that the model is hand-wash only and must not go in the dishwasher, unlike the Original, Go and Clear.
The box includes the same Paper Micro-Filters as the other versions, along with a dedicated stainless steel stirrer and scoop. It is the model AeroPress positions at the top of its lineup, while keeping the same immersion-and-air-pressure extraction mechanism as the Original.

Pros and cons
In favour
- Double wall borosilicate glass chamber, stated to be more durable and with better heat retention
- Stainless steel and anodized aluminum components in place of the plastic used on the other versions source
- Same immersion-and-air-pressure extraction mechanism as the Original, with 10 oz capacity
Worth knowing
- Not dishwasher safe: the manufacturer requires hand washing due to the handmade nature of the piece
- The glass chamber, even double-walled, remains more fragile if dropped than the polypropylene of the other versions
- The included filter is a proprietary paper disc, not matching the conical, mesh or cloth formats of other immersion brewers source
