Severin Spuma 700 Plus

Spuma 700 Plus is the flagship of Severin's milk frothers: the same 700 ml stainless-steel container as the Spuma 700, paired with an Easy-Select dial, an OLED display and 13 programmes, against 3 on the simpler models in the range. The stated dimensions are 19.5 x 15.5 x 25.0 cm, for a net weight of 1.63 kg; here too the manual refers to the rating plate for the mains voltage.

Among the 13 programmes, the manufacturer lists dedicated modes for soy milk, cashew milk and lactose-free milk, plus hot chocolate from whole chocolate pieces, mulled wine and protein shakes. Heating temperatures are individually adjustable between 45 and 65°C for both cold and hot frothing; the end-of-cycle audible signal can be switched off, unlike on the other models in the range.

Heating is by induction, with a dishwasher-safe steel container and a spout shaped for precise pouring, which the manufacturer also indicates as suitable for latte art.
