This Severin milk frother heats by induction and has a dedicated hot chocolate function: the lid only comes off to pour in the chocolate or cocoa, which should be added after the program has started, once the milk is already moving, to avoid jamming the whisk. About 10-15 g of chocolate are needed per 150 ml of milk, or 25-30 g per 300 ml. The dial selects five functions — hot chocolate, large and firm froth, creamy froth, heating only, cold froth — and a button starts preparation.
The container takes a minimum of 75 ml, up to 150 ml for froth or 300 ml when just heating milk; the container, whisk and lid are washed in warm water with detergent or in the dishwasher, while the base with the cable should only be wiped with a soft damp cloth. The light ring turns red for functions that heat and blue for cold ones. It suits anyone who also wants hot chocolate made with chocolate pieces or cocoa, and prefers to wash everything in the dishwasher.
