The SM 3588 is an induction electric milk frother from Severin with a dedicated hot chocolate function, made by melting grated chocolate pieces or cocoa powder directly in the container. It froths up to 150 ml of foam or heats up to 300 ml of plain milk, with two quantity settings for hot foam (large or small).
The container is stainless steel, removable and dishwasher-safe, and the induction heating the manufacturer states keeps milk from sticking to the bottom during preparation. The unit froths both cold and hot milk and draws 550 W.
The dimensions given in the official data sheet are 17 x 12.5 x 23 cm, for a net weight of 0.99 kg and a 90 cm cable. The manufacturer does not state the mains voltage or the product's launch year.
