ECM Mechanika Slim PID
CoffeeSpecs does not sell and does not show shop prices: check the price where you buy.
The Mechanika Slim PID is the display-equipped version of the Mechanika VI Slim: the same roughly 1.9-litre stainless steel heat exchanger and the same architecture, but with an added screen that the manufacturer says shows pre-infusion status, ECO mode, and the temperature unit, plus a low-water warning. PID controls the temperature of both the espresso boiler circuit and the steam side.
The pump is a vibration type, described by the manufacturer as low-noise, with a pump pressure gauge on the panel. The brew group remains ECM's patented design, described as a development of the Faema E61 group, operated through rotary valves with blue accents.
At 250x445x395 mm and 20.2 kg it shares its footprint with the VI Slim. ECM does not publish operating pressure in bar, portafilter diameter, or a heat-up time for this model.
